Principal responsibilities:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Application Support Specialist to provide support, maintenance, and enhancement of business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between bank-users and technical teams, ensuring smooth operation and timely resolution of application-related issues.
• Provide first and second-level support for Supply Chain Finance applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating when necessary.
• Professionally handle incoming requests via phone or email from bank clients and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly
• Handle all customer requests and educate them on company product
• Provide quality service in the areas of handling inquiries, troubleshooting, and system assistance
• Handle escalated calls in an efficient, professional, and understanding manner
• Document support processes, known issues, and resolutions.
• Be proactive in finding better ways to improve the customer experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in application support or a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with SQL, scripting, and basic programming concepts.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
