Holcim recognizes that the earth resources are finite and actively seeks out opportunities to use waste materials from industry to replace non-renewable raw materials and fuels in its production process. Holcim has established the Geocycle business unit to market and manage the logistical and operational aspects of using waste materials from industry, employing the unique properties of a modern cement plant to provide an innovative, world class, waste management solution to industry in Vietnam and thereby minimizing its environmental footprint and making a valuable contribution to preserving the environment of Vietnam.
