Wildlife Tour Guide (Junior)

Leading wildlife tours (Birding, Mammal Watching, Herping) and ensuring a smooth, well-organized experience for guests.
● Following the planned itinerary while overseeing services provided by tour partners to deliver a high-quality experience.
● Understanding and anticipating guests’ needs, offering enthusiastic support, and making
necessary service adjustments to enhance their experience.
● Providing insightful commentary on destinations, ensuring guests not only capture stunning photos but also gain a deeper appreciation of the places they visit.
● Ensuring guests' safety and security throughout the trip, including their personal belongings.
● Submitting tour reports and completing necessary paperwork on time to keep operations
running smoothly.
● Quickly resolving unexpected situations within your authority and escalating issues when
needed to maintain customer satisfaction.
● Gathering feedback to continuously improve tour quality and professionalism.
● Promoting the company’s wildlife/photography tours and services when appropriate.
● Understanding basic first aid and following safety protocols to ensure guests’ well-being.

Skills & Qualifications
● Fluent in English (100% of our guests are international). Additional language skills are a
plus.

● International Tour Guide License (or willingness to obtain one).
● Familiarity with Son Tra Peninsula’s biodiversity, wildlife, and natural history.
● Own a manual motorbike for Son Tra tours.
● Knowledge and/or interest in travel, nature photography, and wildlife conservation.
● Well-organized, detail-oriented, and quick-thinking.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
● Experience in wildlife photography or leading photography tours with ability to guide guests on
camera settings, lighting, and composition is a strong advantage.
● Good physical health and stamina for outdoor activities.
