Tableau Engineer

• Architect, design, and build advanced Tableau dashboards and data visualizations to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
• Integrate, cleanse, and manage data from multiple sources (e.g., MS SQL, Snowflake, Azure Data Lake) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into actionable visual insights.
• Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance, scalability, and user experience, handling large and complex datasets.
• Develop and maintain Tableau data models, calculated fields, parameters, and custom scripts as needed.
• Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and access control within the Tableau environment.
• Provide training, mentorship, and support to team members and end users to maximize adoption and impact of Tableau solutions.
• Document data sources, dashboard logic, and technical processes for future reference and compliance.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality, timely solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or

related field.

● 4+ years of hands-on experience in Tableau development, including dashboard

creation, data integration, and performance tuning.

● Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.

● Advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL,

Snowflake).

● Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL concepts.

● Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

● Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to

non-technical stakeholders.

● Demonstrated leadership in mentoring, knowledge sharing, or technical guidance

within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience in big data analytics, or high-transaction digital platforms

● Familiarity with additional BI tools or scripting languages (e.g., Python, R)

● Awareness of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
