Spare Parts Management Engineer

Job Summary

The Spare Parts Management Engineer is responsible for controlling and maintaining spare parts operations including receiving, storage, distribution, and inventory counting. This role also manages procurement notifications to maintain inventory reserves, prepares reports for parts management, and coordinates with internal and external departments to ensure smooth operations. The engineer will perform other related tasks assigned by the superior.

Key Responsibilities

• Control and maintain spare parts operations including receiving, storage, distribution, and inventory counting.

• Monitor procurement notifications for spare parts to ensure adequate inventory reserves.

• Prepare regular reports on parts management for review and decision-making.

• Liaise and coordinate effectively with internal departments (such as procurement, maintenance, and logistics) and external suppliers or service providers.

• Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Equipment, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

Minimum 0-3 years of experience in spare parts management, preferably within the petrochemical, oil & gas, or manufacturing industries.

Hands-on experience with SAP modules (MM, PM, EWM), inventory management systems, and material master data.

Experience in spare parts identification, Bill of Materials (BOM) setup, and assessment of critical spares.
