Sourcing Manager

• Align sourcing objectives, KPIs, and execution plans with company and corporate strategic goals.
• Demonstrate and promote company values through daily actions, fostering a workplace culture centered on trust, inclusion, transparency, and accountability.
• Prepare and manage the departmental budget, ensuring effective allocation of approved resources while achieving measurable cost savings and business value.
• Lead, mentor, and support sourcing team members to ensure successful and consistent execution of sourcing initiatives.
• Strengthen employee engagement, retention, and professional development within the team.

• Source, assess, qualify, onboard, and develop suppliers for sewing machine components, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, plastic, metal, and finished assembly parts.
• Establish and maintain long-term strategic supplier partnerships, serving as the key escalation point for commercial discussions and supplier performance concerns.
• Manage supplier negotiations covering pricing, lead times, tooling requirements, minimum order quantities (MOQ), production capacity commitments, and contractual agreements.
• Ensure suppliers and subcontractors adhere to company policies, ethical standards, quality expectations, and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Evaluate procurement spending and total landed costs to identify opportunities for cost optimization, value engineering, and process enhancements.
• Regularly benchmark supplier pricing, capabilities, and market competitiveness to support efficient sourcing decisions.
• Identify potential supply chain risks related to capacity, quality, geopolitical factors, logistics, or supplier financial stability, and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.

• Continuously broaden and diversify the supplier base to support business expansion, new product launches, and emerging technology needs.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to qualify and introduce new suppliers, materials, and components.
• Ensure sourcing activities are aligned with product development schedules, production scale-up requirements, and long-term product platform strategies.

• Partner closely with engineering, quality, manufacturing, finance, and logistics teams to ensure sourcing strategies support operational and product objectives.
• Contribute to supplier performance evaluations, corrective action programs, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Make sourcing decisions that effectively balance cost, quality, delivery performance, and innovation requirements.

Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties that contribute to achieving business goals.

• University/Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or durable goods.
• Experience sourcing components and suppliers in a global manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Bi-lingual (English & Vietnamese) and fluent English communication (written and verbal) required.
• Fluent in Mandarin is also preferred.
