Social Media & Content Specialist

Position Summary

This role will support the creation and delivery of engaging video and static content for Olaben Nutrition’s social media channels. This is a hands-on role involving content planning, filming, editing, and basic design, with a focus on producing fresh, trend-relevant content that promotes our products and brand values. The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

1. Content Creation & Production

• Capture and produce short-form videos and images for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook, showcasing Olaben Nutrition products and brand stories.
• Edit videos using CapCut or similar tools, applying text overlays, transitions, and music to create platform-appropriate, engaging content.
• Create simple, visually appealing static posts, infographics, and promotional graphics using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools.
• Assist with basic product styling, props, and setup for in-house Nutrition photography and video shoots.

2. Content Planning & Platform Management

• Maintain and follow a content calendar to ensure posts are consistent, timely, and aligned with campaign and product launch schedules.
• Adapt and optimise content for each platform’s specifications, ensuring high visual quality and audience relevance.
• Work with the marketing team to brainstorm new content ideas and seasonal campaign themes.
• Track basic engagement metrics and share insights to support content improvements.

3. Coordination & Brand Alignment

• Support coordination with KOLs/KOCs for Nutrition-related content, ensuring all deliverables meet agreed creative direction.
• Follow brand guidelines for tone, colour, and styling to ensure all creative output is consistent and on-brand.
• Organise and label content files in a shared library to allow quick access for the wider team.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure content supports marketing, e-commerce, and sales objectives.
  

• Strong understanding of social media platform algorithms, trends, and audience behaviours across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts, with the ability to tailor content for each.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and manage content calendars to ensure consistent posting, timely campaign execution, and optimal engagement.
• Skilled in short-form video editing using CapCut (or similar tools), including adding captions, transitions, audio, and effects in line with platform-specific trends.
• Capable of shooting and producing product and lifestyle content with attention to framing, lighting, and styling that aligns with brand guidelines.
• Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Photoshop, or equivalent tools to create promotional images, infographics, and branded visuals.
• Organised in managing creative assets, maintaining clear file naming, archiving systems, and efficient retrieval for cross-team use.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with KOLs/KOCs to ensure content output meets campaign requirements.
• Attention to detail, ensuring all content is visually consistent, error-free, and aligned with brand identity.
