Engineering Leadership: Oversee the full engineering process for high-performance and franchise footwear models, from initial brief to Ready-to-Buy (RTB) approval, ensuring premium product quality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Development, Materials, and Design teams across the US and Asia to conduct early trials, identify potential risks, and deliver expert technical solutions.
Optimization & Problem Solving: Review tech packs, recommend alternative constructions and materials for improved cost-efficiency and performance, and contribute key insights during teardown and T1 meetings.
Production Readiness: Partner with Commercialization and Production teams to establish manufacturing SOPs, ensuring a smooth handover from development to mass production.
Capability Building: Mentor team members and factory partners to strengthen technical expertise while exploring innovative materials, technologies, and processes to enhance product performance.
Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Industrial Design, Textile Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 5–8 years in footwear engineering or development, preferably with a global performance brand.
Expertise: Strong knowledge of materials, product development, SATRA standards, and footwear construction.
Skills: Pattern making, upper construction, shoe assembly, and use of industry tools.
Systems: Proficient in Microsoft Office and PLM.
Languages: Excellent English; Mandarin preferred.
