Sales Support & Brand Experience Executive

Purpose of the role

Keep VMD presentable at all times. Every point at which a customer encounters VMD – in the showroom, in documents and product media, online, and during customer visits – should reflect the quality of VMD’s products and professionalism. This is a stable, long-term role with clear ownership.

Responsibilities

Samples and showroom (45%)

• Manage all Merchandise samples and maintain an accurate, updated sample register covering identification, location, and condition.
• Ensure all samples are properly stored, labeled, and kept in presentable condition; report damage for repair or replacement.
• Record all movements of samples, swatches, and décor items into and out of the showroom.
• Maintain the showroom in a clean, current, and visitor-ready state.
• Handle inbound and outbound logistics of samples, swatches, or other showroom/sales materials.

Product media and sales materials (35%)

• Produce and maintain photography of all products, swatches, and finishes in a single organized image library.
• Keep the company profile and product catalogue current, reflecting new ranges and certifications.
• Maintain a central, ready-to-send library of certificates and test reports.
• Prepare and dispatch materials for trade fairs and customer meetings, including printed company profiles, catalogues, and swatches.

Customer visits (10%)

• Coordinate visit planning with the responsible merchandiser: agenda, attendees, factory tour, and presentation content.
• Arrange visit logistics and reception: transportation, welcome board, presentation material, refreshment and meals, reservations.
• Set up the showroom and sample sets for each visit and reset afterwards.
• Prepare gifts where appropriate, as agreed with the Merchandise Manager.

Website, LinkedIn, and reporting (10%)

• Maintain the company website and LinkedIn page with regular, current content.
• Submit a monthly report covering sample and showroom status, sample movements, materials updated, and website and LinkedIn metrics.

How success is measured

Overall

• Merchandisers spend no time on samples and showroom arrangement, sales materials, or visit preparation.

Samples and showroom

• Sample register accurate at spot check.
• No lost, unlabeled, or damaged samples on display.
• Add, remove, or reset the showroom after each visit timely.

Product media and sales materials

• Every product, swatch, and finish photographed.
• Catalogue and sales materials updated.
• Certificates and test reports available on request without delay.

Customer visits

• All preparation completed before the customer arrives.
• Positive feedback from the visitors after each visit.

Website, LinkedIn, and reporting

• Website and LinkedIn current at all times.
• Monthly report submitted on time and complete.

• 1+ year in furniture, home goods, or export manufacturing, in a showroom, sample, merchandising, or sales support job.
• Neat, thorough, systematic, with a good visual eye.
• Good written English.
• Basic design tools (Canva, PowerPoint).
• Confident daily use of AI tools (Claude, Copilot, etc.) or AI-assisted image tools.
• Outdoor furniture product knowledge.
• Basic website editing experience.
• Photography experience and basic editing.
• This role is not for someone who wants to run consumer social media or brand campaigns.
