Job purpose
- Win, retain and develop local controlling Accounts
Key responsibilities
- Drive individual assigned sales budget based on accounts planning and expectation for growth.
- Drive sales campaign towards assigned customer segmentation and sales territory.
- Execute sales process to generate business in line with sales planning
- Conducting joint-visits with Product, Trade Lane Development, Pricing, Team member to support customer retention; business acquisition or specific sales & marketing campaign.
- To collaboratively work with respective departments and stakeholders to assure the successful business implementation process.
- To support the adherence to SOP and conflict resolution within sales account ownership.
- To conduct related market survey and giving insights when required.
- To maintain data quality in HWL’s system
- To take up additional tasks where appropriate.
- Open to fresh graduates or individuals with less than 1 year of work experience in Logistics/ Freight Forwarding. Comprehensive training will be provided
- Preferably individuals who have sales-hunter traits and a customer-oriented mindset
- Effective communication: able to communicate effectively inside and outside of the organization and across cultural lines
- In-depth knowledge: about global trade, supply chain models, logistics & transportation.
- Personality Traits: Caring, Entrepreneurial, Forward-thinking, Reliable, Relationship matters
A strong plus if you have the following:
- Business development: able to successfully set up & drive business plan (planning, organizing, goal setting, execution)
- Relationship management: able to manage cross-functional interfaces (operations; pricing; products; finance; management, etc.)
- Leadership: to lead by example, lead stakeholders and lead the business
