Quality Assurance Specialist (QA Specialist)

The QA Specialist is responsible for the smooth running of the material-supply by improving First Time Through and to strengthening supplier relationships to ensure the high quality.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. To conduct pre-inspections and process factory & supplier material claim issues.

2. Be able to maintain a fair and balanced approach when working with customers and suppliers.

3. To communicate effectively between offices regarding pre-inspections and material claims.

4. Update pre-inspection and claim results on tracking then report.

5. Extensive local travel (car)

6. Assist in local or regional quality projects as assigned.

7. With responsibility to send claim acknowledgement.

8. Communicate issues both written and verbal.

9. Deal with and understand debits and credits.

10. Maintain good filing system for testing records and samples.

11. To process and follow up factory & supplier material color confirmation.

12. Keep track, analyze and issue complete weekly claim report.

13. Provide clear color matching instructions suppliers.

14. Do the same duties on packaging materials.

15. Other duties upon request.

KEY CUSTOMERS

Internal to OIA: CSR and other relate teams.

External to OIA: Local and overseas material production partners. Footwear factories.

Professional Experience and Knowledge

• 2-3 years or above experience in material-supply to footwear factories.

• Strong operation and process background in Quality Assurance.

• Good command of English and Mandarin / Korean will be an added advantage.

• Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Educations and Professional Qualifications

• University graduate in Technical fields.

Travel Required

• Local and overseas
