Mô tả công việc:

The Planning specialist plays a critical role in ensuring seamless production operations by coordinating material supply, production scheduling, inventory control, capacity & labor planning. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive communication to meet delivery commitments and revenue targets.
Production Planning: Develop production plans based on demand forecast, orders, and capacity. Acknowledge promise dates for new customer orders and ensure timely fulfillment. Release Work-Orders based on material readiness and scheduling priorities. Coordinate with ME, NPI, Quality, and Production teams to ensure smooth production execution.
Production & Revenue Tracking: Monitor daily production output and revenue performance reports. Review sales order and release pre-shippers. Track delivery schedules and work closely with the logistics team to ensure on-time shipments. Manage backlog trackers and pull-in requests to meet revenue commitments.
Materials Planning & Inventory Control: Issue purchase orders (POs) for directed material. Work closely with Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouse to ensure material availability in line with production schedules, and escalate material shortages when necessary. Monitor inventory level to maintain optimal stock availability. Review half-year forecast reports and align procurement plans accordingly.
Capacity & Labor Planning: Develop short-, medium-, and long-term capacity plans to support customer demand. Evaluate production capacity, machine utilization, and operational constraints to ensure realistic production plans. Identify bottlenecks and recommend capacity improvement initiatives. Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Human Resources to determine workforce requirements and labor allocation. Plan manpower, shift schedules, overtime requirement based on production demand.
Communication & Reporting: Respond to emails and special requests promptly and in a professional manner. Review, investigate, and communicate weekly order delay and overdue reports. Coordinate cross-functionally to resolve planning, supply, and scheduling issues.

Yêu cầu công việc:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience in production planning or materials control.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Language Requirement: Be able to communicate effectively in English, know Chinese is a plus.
