Company Overview: VRR is an 80-year-old family-owned European company focused on producing ULD’s (Unit Load Devices) for the aviation industry, with a focus on quality, safety, and innovation. VRR Vietnam is a newly established mechanical engineering company in Vietnam, started in August 2025, and expanding from its roots in The Netherlands. We specialize in two core product lines: Pallet Products and Container Products, both requiring precision manufacturing and continuous process improvement.
Role Summary: The Junior Production Engineer work in fabric room supports the transformation of design information into clear production instructions and assists in setting up manufacturing processes. This role works closely with senior engineers, design, and production teams to ensure smooth setup of the sewing room and related production lines. The engineer provides technical support, learns to optimize workflows, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
General Production Support:
Translate design data into manufacturing steps and documentation.
Collaborate with design and quality engineers to ensure manufacturability.
Assist production teams with technical questions and process clarifications.
Training technician: Provide guidance and training to technicians to ensure proper use of machines and adherence to processes.
Process Setup & Optimization:
Support setup of sewing machines, cutting machines, printing machines, and laser machines.
Observe and report workflow bottlenecks, propose improvements.
Participate in lean manufacturing activities (5S, Kanban, VSM).
Support AM/PM activities for production equipment.
Tooling & Equipment:
Assist in preparing tools and equipment to improve manufacturing speed and quality.
Monitor machine usage and report performance issues.
Sourcing during factory setup: Collaborate with suppliers to source tools, materials, and equipment during the setup phase.
Quality & Safety:
Set up checks to ensure product safety and compliance with quality standards.
Act according to VRR’s Code of Conduct and report unsafe situations.
Support rework analysis and corrective actions for out-of-spec parts.
Data & Reporting:
Maintain records of production processes and performance metrics.
Evaluate cost-effectiveness of manufacturing methods and suggest alternatives.
Assist in layout planning for production areas.

Yêu cầu công việc:

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s level in Garment Technology / Textile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering related to sewing production.
Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar production engineering role.
Hands-on experience with sewing machines, cutting machines, printing machines, and laser machines.
Ability to read and use technical drawings proficiently.
Familiarity with BOM management.
Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing and safety regulations.
Skills:
Good command of English (CEFR B2 or higher) to work with the Netherlands team
Effective communication and team collaboration.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position in Bến Lức, Long An, Monday to Friday.
Collaborates closely with the Netherlands team to support the setup and alignment of production processes.
Flexibility required during the setup phase to adapt to evolving production needs.
