Overview:
The E-Commerce Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the hotel’s online presence across all digital sales channels. This role ensures accurate content, competitive pricing, and effective promotions are implemented on OTA platforms, websites, and other e-commerce channels to drive online bookings and revenue performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and update content (photos, descriptions, facilities, policies) across all OTAs and third-party websites to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain rate parity and conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies or issues.
- Assist in managing room availability and rates across online channels via the channel manager and PMS/CRS systems.
- Coordinate the implementation of online promotions, special packages, and campaigns in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue teams.
- Analyze performance data (conversion rates, booking pace, ranking position) from online platforms and provide actionable insights.
- Liaise with OTA market managers to optimize visibility and promotional opportunities.
- Support the hotel’s official website content and ensure alignment with the brand’s guidelines and seasonal offerings.
- Assist in responding to guest reviews and Q&A across online platforms to maintain strong reputation scores.
- Prepare regular reports on e-commerce performance, campaign results, and competitor benchmarking.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in an e-commerce or digital marketing role in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of OTA platforms (Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, etc.) and channel management systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with website CMS tools and basic SEO knowledge.
- Familiarity with CRS, PMS (Opera, Smile, etc.), and Revenue Management Systems.
