Data Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain effective data pipelines to collect, process, and store large-scale security data (e.g., system logs, network traffic, SIEM data).

• Ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of security data, preparing clean data for AI/ML models.

• Optimize databases and big data processing systems to improve performance and scalability.

• Collaborate closely with data scientists and security engineers to understand data requirements and integrate models into products and services.

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Work Experience:

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a Data Engineer role or equivalent positions.

• Preference for candidates with experience in the cybersecurity industry or working with security data.

• Technical Skills:• Proficient in a programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and experienced with data processing libraries.

• Solid experience in designing and building data pipelines.

• Proficient with big data processing technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop.

• Experience working with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

• Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a strong plus.

• Preferred Qualifications:• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, including security data standards and common attack methods.

• Prior experience in building data solutions for cybersecurity problems such as fraud detection or user behavior analysis..
