Welding Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage WPS/pWPS registers in line with international codes and project specifications.
• Coordinate and witness welding procedure and welder qualification tests.
• Review vendor WPS and related documents.
• Monitor welding quality, repair rates, and propose corrective actions.
• Inspect welding activities, consumables, and equipment calibration.
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams, vendors, and clients to ensure compliance and quality.
• Provide technical advice to improve welding productivity and support bidding activities.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechanics, or Welding Technology.
• Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with welding engineering experience.
• English proficiency: TOEIC 650 or equivalent.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
• Certificates (preferred): Welding Inspector, CSWIP, NDT.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and 5S.
• Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
