As a Quality Assurance Technician at Otto International, you will be responsible for evaluating samples, giving comments to the factory in order to improve product quality and avoid potential faults in mass production. You will strive for operational excellence in performing your role. To control the quality of products by carrying out in-line and final inspection.
How will you make a difference?
Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, merchandisers, QC and fabric team, with regards to product quality.
Provide technical advice and recommend corrective actions on technical issues.
Inspect and comment on samples (proto counter and size set samples) with regards to measurements, workmanship and fit.
Conduct final approval in the market on behalf of customer.
Handle sensitive customer issues personally and serve as a consultant in technical issues both externally and internally.
Fully understand customer set up processes & quality requirements.
Visit factories and suppliers on a regular basis (if necessary).
Other tasks assigned by manager.
Who we are looking for?
Graduated with a degree in relevant fields such as Fashion or Garment/Textile Technology.
At least 5 years’ experience in the garment/apparel field.
Strong experience with flat knit products such as sweater and cardigan.
Familiar with quality measures standard.
Good textile/garment knowledge and familiar with garment manufactory cycle.
Be able to create paper pattern or read CAD pattern.
Sewing experience is a plus.
Good communication skills.
Quick learner.
Good Integrity behaviour.
Good command of English.
