Purchasing/ Procurement Manager (fluent English and Japanese - have shuttle bus) ~ Attractive Salary [27919 - Dong Anh, Hanoi]

1. Overall responsibility for the strategic sourcing management goals of assigned commodity and
implement action items to ensure that those goals are achieved
2. Develop and implement commodity strategies, including sourcing, supplier selection, qualification domestically and internationally
3. Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models
4. Responsible for negotiations for best possible cost service guarantee and develop “win-win” strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers
5. Drive Cost Reduction thru commercial and technical lever
6. Implement supplier agreements/contracts when beneficial by working with cross-functional
stakeholders and suppliers to reach agreement on contract terms and conditions
7. Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to
minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and utilize emerging opportunities
8. Maintain and develop supplier relationships to meet company goals
9. Manage and collaborate New Product Realization (NPR) Project with R& in cost optimization
and vendor selection
10. Lead, train and guide purchasing team in daily purchasing functions

• Japanese proficiency at N1 level, English Upper intermediate level (from Toeic 700+, good communication skills
• Proven experience (At least 3 years) as a Purchasing/ Procurement Manager in manufacturing companies
• Strong experience in procurement, supplier management, and negotiation
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
