• Portfolio Management: Manage project portfolio: allign with Business strategy, pipeline management, resource management.
• Manage the project portfolio, including the prioritization and allocation of resources to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Process: Establish & Improve: - Develop and implement a governance framework to ensure that all projects adhere to established standards and procedures - Update & monitor the running process; - Audit: Conduct regular audit to make sure all projects follow the process.
• Training: Collaborate with other departments to - ensure every employee be trained / introduced about the process(es) - provide courses about important or updated knowledge: eg. Agile, Scrum, ...
• Recruit, train and manage a team of project managers and project assistants.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and project teams.
• Perform other duties as requested by superiors.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum and Waterfall.
• Experience with project management software such as Jira, MS Project, ...
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on delivering large-scale projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in a PMO management role or equivalent.
• Skills interpersonal skills: organize, communicate and interact with a company’s people daily.
• Leadership skills: oversees a company’s staff and operations, guide employees on
workplace relations and employment matters.
• Decision-making skills: making decisions that can affect an entire company and its employees as well as hiring decisions that lead to productive teams.
• Organization skills: must handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks, are also responsible for maintaining a large amount of data and paperwork
• Public speaking and communication skills: must communicate company policies and decisions clearly and with authority, often give presentations to employees and lead company meetings.
• Teamwork: collaborate with the company’s other managers, should be able to work well with colleagues during meetings, on projects and when making decisions.
• Other a business acumen partnered with attention to the human element.
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
