Project Engineer - Long An

Purpose of the position

This position will provide operational support for the Country Project Manager and participate as engineering assistance in various facility capital and repairing projects in factory.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsibility of Investment projets & maintenance Project.

• Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with Engineering Manager.

• Determines & prepare the document for projects (drawings, specifications, estimates, quotes, bid-packages…)

• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems.

• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.

• Prepare project status reports (weekly/ monthly).

• Submit applications and obtain any required permits for internal missions.

• Manage subcontractors in installation, make sure that all plant policies are followed.

• Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures rules, and regulations.

• Maintain engineering project data base (as-build documents, administering contractor contracts…)

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Update / managed technical documents & support other departments for drawings issued.

• Other duties are assigned based on business requirements.

Requirements for the position:

Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in

Mechanical/ Electrical/ Construction

Experience: + Minimum of 3 years in same position,

Preferred experience in project

implementation in food, chemical,

pharmaceutical factory environment.

+ Experience in ISO 45001

+ Experience in food quality standards: FSSC

22000, GMP, HACCP, AIB, IFS, BRC

+ Knowledge of hygienic engineering would

be a plus.

+ Ability to read, write and interpret technical

documents (create drawings of P&ID,

Layout...)

+ Good knowledge of design and

visualisations software such as AutoCAD 2D &

3D
