Core Purpose
Execute daily order tracking across development/production stages, maintaining >95% on-time delivery through relentless follow-up and support for the end-to-end process.
Key Responsibilities
1. Order Process Support & Problem Identification
• Support the entire order process under supervision (confirmation, production, shipment, payment follow-up).
• Identify problems (delays, quality issues) promptly and report them to the Senior Specialist effectively.
• Assist in dealing with emergencies as directed to protect quality and delivery.
• Communicate with related internal departments (QA/QC, Logistics) as needed for task execution.
2. Development Stage Tracking
• Chase daily updates for: Lab dips, strike-offs, shade band approvals, sample yardage submissions, etc.
• Log approvals/rejections in ERP/Excel with comments.
3. Production Stage Monitoring
• Track real-time progress: Yarn inventory → Weaving/knitting → Finishing → Pre-shipment QC → Shipment.
• Verify daily supplier reports against physical milestones (e.g., loom start dates).
4. Data Management & Communication
• Update ERP/Excel trackers with daily status changes (e.g., "yarn received 08/12 – 20/40s cotton").
• Alert Senior Specialist immediately if >5% delivery delay risk or any quality emergency.
5. Complaint Documentation Support
• Compile evidence for defects (photos, test reports, PO references) for Senior Specialist analysis.
• Communicate resolution timelines to buyers in English/suppliers and in Mandarin with suppliers.
6. Textile Knowledge Application
• Identify basic fabric/trim non-conformities (e.g., incorrect GSM, shrinkage failures) using industry standards.
• Validate supplier test reports against buyer requirements.
7. Other Responsibilities
• Other tasks as assigned according to the business needs.
• Bachelor degree, preferred in textile / garment.
• At least 5-year relevant experience required for Merchandiser/Specialist level (or equivalent demonstrated capability).
• Good knowledge of fabric and testing methods.
• Strong initiative, self-discipline, and ability to work under pressure.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Good team player with cross-functional communication abilities.
• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English language, both spoken and written (Mandatory).
• Good computer skills (ERP systems, Excel, etc).
