Senior Production Specialist (Fabric)

Core Purpose

Lead end-to-end order execution with deep textile knowledge, ensuring >95% on-time delivery through rigorous development/production tracking and complaint resolution.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Order Process Ownership

• Be responsible for the entire order process including order confirmation (SCs), production planning & monitoring, shipment coordination, and payment follow-up.

• Identify problems and provide solutions effectively across all order stages.

• Deal with all emergencies (e.g., material shortages, delays, quality crises) to ensure good quality and on-time delivery.

• Communicate with related internal departments (QA/QC, Logistics, Finance, Sales) to ensure seamless execution.

2. Order Execution & Technical Oversight

• Verify technical specs (materials, construction, testing standards) from buyers; issue Sales Confirmations (SCs) to suppliers.

• Track critical development milestones: Lab dips, strike-offs, shade lots, sample yardage approvals, etc.

• Monitor production stages: Yarn sourcing, weaving/knitting, finishing, QC inspections, shipments.

3. Daily Progress Enforcement & Risk Management

• Mandate daily updates from suppliers on development/production status; escalate delays immediately.

• Update tracking systems (ERP/Excel) with real-time milestone data.

• Proactively identify risks to quality or delivery timelines and implement corrective actions.

4. Shipment & Compliance

• Ensure shipping documentation (BL, test reports) meets destination-country regulations.

• Enforce >95% on-time delivery KPI; implement recovery plans for at-risk orders.

5. Complaint Resolution

• Lead root-cause analysis for post-shipment defects (e.g., shade variance, pilling); negotiate refunds/replacements with suppliers.

• Maintain

• Bachelor degree, preferred in textile / garment.

• At least 5-year relevant experience required for Merchandiser/Senior Specialist level.

• Good knowledge of fabric and testing methods.

• Strong initiative, self-discipline, and ability to work under pressure.

• Good negotiation and communication skills.

• Good team player with cross-functional communication abilities.

• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English language, both spoken and written (Mandatory).

• Good computer skills (ERP systems, Excel, etc.).
