Mechanical Design Engineer

Boustead Projects Vietnam is looking for candidates for the Position of Mechanical Design Engineer.

Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing mechanical systems including HVAC, Compress air, Nitrogen, Cleanroom… for construction projects. This role involves ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of mechanical systems.

• Develop concept/basic/detailed Mechanical system (HVAC, Compress air, Nitrogen, Cleanroom…) designs and specifications for construction projects.
• Use autocad software to create accurate and detailed Mech layout plans.
• Ensure designs comply with local Mechanical codes, regulations, and industry standards, green standard (LEED, BCA...).

• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineers, subcontractors, vendors... to integrate Mech systems into overall project plans.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical input and recommendations.
• Oversee the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Address any issues that arise during.

• Prepare design drawings, specifications, and reports.

• Detail-oriented, meticulous, and responsible.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Mechanical engineering, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of Mech systems, building codes, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and Mech design software.
• Using Autodesk ACC flatform (BIM Design collaboration) is a plus.
