Responsibilities:

Implement, manage, and maintain NGINX and HAProxy for effective load balancing and reverse proxy solutions.
Configure and optimize Varnish Cache to enhance performance through efficient caching mechanisms.
Manage and optimize databases, including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra, ensuring data integrity and scalability.
Collaborate with development teams to deploy and integrate new software solutions within the existing infrastructure.
Utilize Cloudflare for CDN services, DNS management, and DDoS mitigation.
Oversee and optimize server environments on Ubuntu, ensuring system stability and security.
Develop automation scripts and tools to reduce manual interventions and streamline operations.
Continuously analyze and improve existing technologies and infrastructure.

Your Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with extensive knowledge of NGINX, HAProxy, and Varnish Cache.
Proficient in managing and optimizing MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra databases.
Experienced in Cloudflare configuration and management.
Skilled in managing Linux-based infrastructures, particularly Ubuntu.
Familiar with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
Strong understanding of network protocols, IP networking, and security measures.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work under tight deadlines.

Additional Skills:

Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
Proficiency in automation tools, including Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Linux, Cloudflare, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) are a plus.
