Devops Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Implement, manage, and maintain NGINX and HAProxy for effective load balancing and reverse proxy solutions.
• Configure and optimize Varnish Cache to enhance performance through efficient caching mechanisms.
• Manage and optimize databases, including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra, ensuring data integrity and scalability.
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy and integrate new software solutions within the existing infrastructure.
• Utilize Cloudflare for CDN services, DNS management, and DDoS mitigation.
• Oversee and optimize server environments on Ubuntu, ensuring system stability and security.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to reduce manual interventions and streamline operations.
• Continuously analyze and improve existing technologies and infrastructure.

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with extensive knowledge of NGINX, HAProxy, and Varnish Cache.
• Proficient in managing and optimizing MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra databases.
• Experienced in Cloudflare configuration and management.
• Skilled in managing Linux-based infrastructures, particularly Ubuntu.
• Familiar with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, IP networking, and security measures.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work under tight deadlines.

Additional Skills:

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
• Proficiency in automation tools, including Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Linux, Cloudflare, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) are a plus.
