Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Automation QA with strong expertise in automation testing and solid knowledge in manual testing. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality of both frontend (UI/Portal) and backend APIs, Mobile App, with a focus on designing robust automation frameworks and leveraging modern tools like GenAI/Copilot to accelerate test development.

The ideal candidate also possesses a good understanding of system architecture and databases to effectively validate complex systems end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for UI, Mobile App, and backend API testing.
• Write and execute comprehensive test cases for both manual and automated testing.
• Perform end-to-end testing for web portals, mobile applications, and backend services.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Appium.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and verification tests in pre-production and production environments.
• Validate data flow and data integrity across systems by working with databases and backend services.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Utilize GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to streamline and accelerate the creation of automated test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, and ensure thorough follow-up on resolution.
• Contribute to test strategy discussions by providing insights based on system architecture and overall solution design.

• Good at speaking English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, software engineering, or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, including both manual testing and automation testing.
• Strong expertise in automation testing (must) using Java or similar stacks.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation testing on Android and/or iOS platforms.
• Strong experience in manual testing with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proven ability to test web portals (UI), mobile applications, and backend APIs (REST, GraphQL).
• Basic to strong knowledge of databases, including writing SQL queries to validate data accuracy and consistency.
• Good understanding of system architecture, including frontend-backend interactions, APIs, databases, and microservices-based systems.
• Proficient in writing clear, detailed, and effective test cases.
• Deep understanding of the automation development lifecycle, including CI/CD integration.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI tools or GitHub Copilot to enhance automation productivity.
• Ability to live code during interviews or technical discussions.
• Experience in executing tests and troubleshooting issues in staging, pre-production, and production environments.
• Experience with mobile device testing, device farms, emulators, simulators, and cross-platform testing is a plus.
