Position: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Reports to: Head of Engagement Delivery Department

Effective Date: 14/07/2026

I. Position Purpose

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for driving successful delivery across multiple customer engagements by providing portfolio-level governance, delivery oversight, resource coordination, and quality assurance.

Working closely with Engineering Managers, and Account Managers; Senior Project Manager drives delivery consistency, proactively manages risks, and maintains delivery standards across the organization. The role also provides coaching and governance to support successful project execution, and may directly manage strategic or highly complex projects when needed.

II. Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Delivery Leadership
  • Provide delivery oversight to ensure projects are progressing according to agreed plans and milestones.
  • Participate in resolving delivery challenges, dependencies, and cross-project issues.
  • Coordinate delivery activities across multiple accounts to ensure alignment and successful execution.
  • Lead delivery reviews and drive continuous improvement across the project portfolio.
  • Delivery Governance & Reporting
  • Establish and maintain standardized delivery governance across all projects.
  • Define and improve project management standards, templates, and best practices.
  • Standardize project reporting, RAID logs, dashboards, and executive status reports.
  • Conduct regular portfolio governance reviews with Head of Engagement Delivery Department, covering project scope, schedules, budgets, RAID items, dependencies, change requests, delivery risks, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's delivery methodology, governance standards, and customer requirements.
  • Resource & Capacity Planning
  • Coordinate resource allocation across projects in collaboration with Engineering Managers and Account Managers.
  • Identify resource constraints and recommend mitigation plans.
  • Support capacity planning based on project demand and delivery priorities.
  • Facilitate resource balancing across customer engagements to optimize delivery effectiveness.
  • Delivery Quality Management
  • Define and enforce delivery quality gates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review project readiness before key milestones, including planning, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards before customer acceptance.
  • Drive continuous improvement through project retrospectives, lessons learned, and process improvements.
  • Risk & Escalation Management
  • Monitor portfolio-level risks, dependencies, and delivery issues.
  • Coordinate the resolution of cross-project risks and escalations.
  • Escalate critical delivery risks to the Head of Engagement Delivery Department with recommended mitigation plans.
  • Support recovery planning for projects requiring additional delivery oversight.
  • Strategic Project Leadership
  • Directly manage high-complexity, high-risk, or strategic projects as assigned.
  • Engage with senior customer stakeholders and internal leadership teams.
  • Mentor and coach Junior and Mid-level Project Managers on delivery governance, planning, and execution best practices.
  • Support project mobilization and transition from pre-sales into delivery.

Yêu cầu công việc:

  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience
  • 6–8 years of experience in IT project, program, or delivery management.
  • Proven experience delivering multiple concurrent software development or digital transformation projects.
  • Experience working in software development, system integration, cloud, or technology consulting environments.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams using Agile and/or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Strong experience managing customer stakeholders and delivery governance.
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience delivering Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) projects.
  • Experience with digital transformation, cloud platforms, enterprise integration, or payment solutions.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent.
