Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Quality Engineer (Structural Fabrication, ID21594, 2000USD):
Vendor Quality Management & Auditing:
Assess and audit vendor Quality Management Systems (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001, verifying audit records, inspection setups, and workforce competencies.
Partner in the approval framework for new suppliers through technical document reviews, capability validations, and on-site factory evaluations.
Manage sample submissions, evaluate First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, and secure technical sign-offs prior to serial production rollout.
Execute site-level QA/QC inspections as mandated by approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs); monitor vendor performance metrics (NCR turnaround times, defect ratios) and enforce corrective action plans.
In-House Quality Control & Surface Treatment Oversight:
Direct the internal QC team to enforce ITP protocols across in-process structural manufacturing and final product dispatch.
Ensure final product validation, structural compliance, and documentation completeness prior to client delivery.
Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) alongside production teams to track remediation efficiency and root cause elimination.
Overhaul surface preparation and powder coating quality standards; deliver technical quality trainings to QC inspectors, technicians, and team leads.
Maintain full traceability of compliance records to satisfy customer audits and regulatory inspections.
New Product Introduction (NPI) & Process Control:
Facilitate Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) for newly launched structural products and fabrication lines.
Pinpoint Critical Control Points (CCPs), develop specialized product ITPs, establish acceptance criteria, and lead pilot runs to verify process capability and repeatability.
Calibrate testing tools and verify machinery capability to ensure readiness for new production specifications.
Quality Data Analytics & Global Reporting:
Standardize, aggregate, and analyze inspection logs (FAI, NCR, test reports) utilizing statistical quality tools (Pareto analysis, Control Charts, Histograms).
Consolidate monthly quality performance metrics and build dashboards for executive presentation to regional and global leadership teams.
Manage tool calibration schedules and liaise with site leadership on HSE, maintenance, and productivity alignment.

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Quality Management, or related technical disciplines.
Experience:3+ years of dedicated experience in Quality Engineering, QA/QC leadership, or Quality Management within manufacturing, structural fabrication, or heavy construction sectors.
Technical Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 frameworks, ITP execution, NCR management, and vendor quality management.
Proficiency in reading complex technical drawings, structural blueprints, and material specifications.
Hands-on experience with FMEA, CCP identification, and surface treatment/coating inspection.
Preferred:Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Software & Foreign Language:
Advanced command of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Fluency inEnglish(essential for cross-border vendor communication, global stakeholder reporting, and technical documentation).
