Purchasing Officer (Temp 1 Year)

The job holder is responsible for purchase support of MRO, service, indirect material through the development and implementation of appropriate sourcing strategies.

• Responsible for managing Purchase Requests from the business.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and manage RFQ process, contract management, delivery management, payment process for the assigned categories.
• Monitor and update the detailed status of purchase orders: ETD/ETA of shipments, shipping documents, customs clearance and payment process.
• Follow up on the progress of fulfillment of the PO. Reconcile accurate records of PO/ Receipt in system and with suppliers and/or service providers.
• Make supplier performance periodically and address/escalate supplier non-performance as appropriate.
• Manage and maintain contracts for the assigned categories.
• Fulfill the monthly Procurement reports as defined.
• Proactively identify issues with day-to-day processes, resolve or communicate the issues to management on time, as needed.
• Perform other duties and functions as assigned by line manager.
