Contract Type: Fixed-term full-time (14 months)
Project: Education and Research Capacity Building Project at University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City (UMP-HCMC)

Contract Period: November 2025 – December 2026 (14 months)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:30
Work Arrangement: This is a full-time on-site position based at UMP.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft and review official project documents; report first to the Project Manager, and when required, to the Project Director.
• Coordinate and interpret during official meetings with professors, students, and government officials.
• Maintain direct communication with Yonsei University staff in Korea for project-related tasks.
• Organize medical education workshops, including logistics and coordination with stakeholders.
• Liaise with UMP professors for discussions and project implementation.
• Attend regular meetings with Yonsei University and UMP; prepare meeting minutes and follow-up action points.
• Collect and submit all receipts and financial supporting documents related to project activities to the Finance Officer.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Education, International Development, etc).
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in project coordination, administration, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in English and Vietnamese, with ability to draft official documents and handle formal communications in both languages.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
Preferences
• Experience in international NGOs or development cooperation projects.
• Experience in liaising with academic institutions and government stakeholders.
• Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Korean language will be considered an advantage.
Employment Conditions
• Start date: Selected candidate must be available to begin work in November 2025.
• Salary: To be negotiated (based on qualifications and experience).
• Probation: First 2 months will be probationary period, during which 90% of the agreed monthly salary will be paid. Failure to pass the probation period will result in termination of the contract.
• Leave: 12 days of paid leave per annum (in addition to official holidays).
• Benefits: Social, health, and unemployment insurance will be provided in accordance with Vietnamese law. In addition, the project will support annual health check-up for the employee.
• Travel: Due to the nature of the project, occasional business trips to Korea or other regions in Vietnam may be required.
