Gear Inc. is seeking a QA (Quality Assurance) Officer for our Moderation teams on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will ensure all content follows the guidelines of our platforms by managing sensitive content and responding to law enforcement requests.

Responsibility

• Review, evaluate and make decisions on flagged content to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
• Analyze data and generate reports on non-conformance issues; submit them to the governments reporting system using standardized templates.
• Maintain accurate records of reported content for tracking and compliance purposes.
• Process law enforcement requests efficiently, leveraging predefined templates, and ensure timely responses based on urgency and legal requirements.

• Good English communication skills since this is a client-facing role.
• French proficiency will be a plus, but not a requirement.
• Prior experience as a Quality Analyst (especially in the BPO industry) is preferable.
• Having content-moderation-related skills is a must;
• Prior experience in processing law enforcement requests for the platforms is a big plus but not required.
• Be detail-oriented with strong analytical skills;
• Proficient skills with MS Office and Google Drive;
• Tools: Familiarity with Zendesk, Cinder, Amplitude, and reporting platforms (such as PHAROS) is preferred but not required.
• Personal traits and self-management skills are required to manage unique risks and a fast-paced work environment within the Content Moderation industry. Candidates may potentially be exposed to harmful content.
