MEP Engineer

Technical Consultancy & Design Coordination

· Review MEP design drawings, technical specifications, and ensure feasibility for site installation.

· Coordinate with consultants, clients, and design teams for technical clarifications and approvals.

· Provide engineering solutions and recommendations to optimize cost, safety, and system performance.

· Participate in value engineering workshops and ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction.

Project Execution & Site Coordination

· Coordinate with civil/structural teams to ensure proper space allocation for MEP services.

· Supervise MEP installation works: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection systems.

· Verify material deliveries and ensure compliance with project specifications.

· Attend site meetings and ensure all MEP works meet project schedule and quality standards.

Subcontractor Management

· Coordinate with MEP subcontractors regarding work sequence, manpower planning, and site progress.

· Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.

· Ensure subcontractors comply with technical requirements, safety regulations, and contract terms.

Testing & Commissioning

· Prepare and review testing & commissioning plans and checklists.

· Coordinate FAT/SAT and site inspections with clients, consultants, and authorities.

· Ensure systems operate according to design intent and performance requirements.

· Assist in preparing As-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documents.

HSE Compliance

· Work with Safety Officer to ensure MEP installation follows HSE standards and site regulations.

· Report and support resolution of unsafe practices or technical risks.

Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain accurate documentation of drawings, RFIs, inspection reports, material approvals.

· Prepare weekly progress reports for management and clients.

· Support claims, variations, and project close-out documentation where required
