Material Sourcing Specialist

The Material Sourcing Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring company's consistent supply of quality materials while optimizing costs and maintaining sustainable sourcing practices. This position requires collaboration with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and quality control teams to support our manufacturing operations. This individual will support the Sourcing Managers for development and execution of category strategy, project management, and new product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential suppliers across domestic and international markets

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers

• Analyze market trends, spend data, and supply chain dynamics affecting raw materials

• Maintain active project list and drive accountability with other functions.

• Conduct RFQs and RFIs with vendor base

• Support contract management and pricing agreements with suppliers

• Monitor supplier performance and compliance with quality standards

• Coordinate with quality control teams to ensure materials meet specifications

• Implement sustainable sourcing practices aligned with regulations

• Maintain detailed documentation of sourcing activities and supplier relationships

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in Sourcing, Purchasing or other Supply Management functions in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of industrial materials and quality standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good English (4 skills)
• Strong experience with Microsoft suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (but not required):

• Experience with multiple raw material categories
• Knowledge of material grades, specifications, and testing procedures
• Experience with international sourcing and import/export regulations
• Proven negotiation and relationship-building skills
