Marketing Engagement & Growth Coordinator

The Business Executive Network is an independent network of business leaders in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang. We host events like seminars, lunches, meetings, and social gatherings to help members grow and connect.

Position Summary

As Marketing, Engagement, and Growth Coordinator, you run the marketing and business development function day to day. Working directly with the Chairman, you set the strategic vision for all marketing and business development activities. You will lead campaign planning, drive member engagement, and identify growth opportunities through lead generation. Additionally, you will manage our CRM system, oversee budgets and resources, track KPIs, and closely collaborate with the founder and leadership team to ensure alignment with strategic goals. This role will be pivotal in scaling our business and deepening member connections.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the annual marketing and member growth plan; set priorities and sequencing with the Chairman.
• Own the marketing budget: allocate spend, evaluate ROI, and decide what to cut or scale.
• Set the editorial and content direction across email, social, and video.
• Direct junior staff and external partners (designers, videographers, agencies).
• Deliver campaigns end-to-end (email, social, and digital), outsourcing or delegating where capacity requires.
• Manage the CRM system: data quality, pipeline stages, lead scoring, and source attribution.
• Identify growth opportunities: new member segments, partnerships, event formats, and build the case for them.
• Own the process for handling prospective member and event enquiries, ensuring leads are captured and followed through.
• Ensure marketing, membership, and business development goals stay aligned.
• Mentor or direct junior/coordinator-level support as the function grows.

Ideal Candidate

• 2–3 years minimum in marketing or communications, with at least some ownership of a campaign or channel end-to-end.
• Strong English writing/editing (Vietnamese a plus).
• Organised, adaptable, and agile.
• Working knowledge of HubSpot, Meta for Business, and Canva/Adobe.
• Can brief and direct video production, whether or not you edit themselves.
• Degree or coursework in journalism/communications or a related field.
