1. Production Capability Development & Strategic Planning
- Enhance production capability both in-house & sub-contract.
- Oversee all functions in manufacturing supply chain including Wearhouse, Planning & Merchandising, Technical & Sample, Innovation Engineering and Improvement Continuously, Quality Assurance, Production, Mechanical, etc…
- Develop and implement the factory’s long-term and short-term development plans, ensuring alignment with the company’s business strategy.
- Oversee HR planning, production capacity expansion, investment strategies, and annual budgeting.
- Build an effective organizational structure that optimizes business and production efficiency.
2. Production & Operational Management
- Drive production excellence, ensuring that every project is executed seamlessly from concept to completion.
- Oversee the design, layout, and setup production workshop/ sewing lines according to the change of products.
- Oversee and manage day-to-day production operations, ensuring all technical aspects meet the level of efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
- Allocate resources effectively and resolve any arising production challenges.
- Develop and implement production plans, ensuring targets are met while maintaining quality and compliance.
- To implement the quality control & risk management to maintain Thygesen’ high standards.
- Supervise the adherence to safety regulations and inspection standards.
- Lead process optimization and regulatory compliance, ensuring best practices in manufacturing operations.
- Manage vendors, suppliers, and technical crews, ensuring seamless integration of all production element.
3. Human Resources & Organizational Development
- Develop and implement training and coaching programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and ensure continuous competency development within teams.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive workplace culture that aligns with the company’s core values.
- Oversee recruitment, team-building, and overall organizational growth to ensure high levels of efficiency and motivation.
4. Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement new technologies, equipment, and materials to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Drive a lean manufacturing approach, continuously improving processes and reducing waste.
- Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Report to the Board of Directors on key performance metrics and strategic initiatives.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Textile Manufacturing, or related fields.
· At least 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role within the textile manufacturing industry.
· Deep expertise in lean production processes, technical packs, pattern design, and garment manufacturing.
· Understanding of market trends, customer demands, and emerging production technologies.
· Excellent skills in HR management, coaching, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making.
· A proactive, flexible, and highly responsible individual with strong leadership abilities.
· Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and drive results.
