Laboratory Manager (Open for Taiwanese Expat, ID 21188)

1. Laboratory Operations Management & Team Development

• Team Management: Responsible for recruiting, training, performance evaluation, and daily task assignment for R& engineers and laboratory technicians.
• System Maintenance: Develop and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
• Resource Planning: Prepare annual laboratory budgets, coordinate equipment procurement, calibration schedules, and consumable inventory management.

2. Plastic Modification & Formula Development

• Material Modification Research: Lead polymer material modification projects to enhance properties such as flexibility, strength, flame resistance, UV resistance, and weatherability.
• Product Innovation: Research and develop engineering plastic compounds, biodegradable resins, and high-performance functional masterbatches.
• Formula Optimization: Improve cost efficiency of existing formulations and resolve technical challenges related to compatibility between carrier resins and additives.

3. Masterbatch Technology & Color Management

• Color Matching: Lead color formulation development and perform precise hand-matching for customer requirements.
• Pigment Application: Possess in-depth knowledge of organic/inorganic pigments, dyes, and dispersion technologies in various resin systems such as PP, PE, PET, and PA.

4. Testing Analysis & Customer Technical Support

• Analysis & Decision-Making: Interpret testing and analytical results (e.g., MFI, DSC, tensile strength) to support R& direction and product improvement.
• Technical Advisory: Collaborate with the sales team to resolve customer processing issues, including injection molding, blown film, and fiber extrusion defects.

• Male, under 42 years old
• Taiwanese nationality
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Material Chemistry, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Laboratory Manager in plastic or resin manufacturing companies
• Preference will be given to candidates with English communication skills
