International Sourcing Specialist

- Ensure a stable supply source by proactively sourcing or backing up suppliers/customers when current ones lack capacity or quality

- Accurately plan purchase orders to meet safety stock levels and avoid shortage or excess inventory

- Negotiate effectively on pricing and purchasing terms to optimize cost and delivery

- Monitor and analyze trends in raw material and product prices, including future product developments and substitute materials that may impact current supply

- Stay informed on industry movements and macroeconomic/political changes that may affect the supply chain

- Search for suppliers or international customers as required

- Liaise with suppliers on pricing, order terms, shipping schedules, and handle relevant issues (excluding logistics documentation)

- Coordinate order plans and submit internal approvals

- Track and adjust shipping schedules to ensure timely material supply for operations

- Coordinate material flow between North and South regions to avoid shortages or long-term overstock

- Compile and analyze monthly import data

- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in manufacturing or trading sectors

- Strong analytical and negotiation skills

- Solid planning, organization, and communication capabilities

- Ability to handle tasks flexibly and efficiently, with high responsibility

- Proficient in Microsoft Office; capable of preparing reports and presentations

- ENGLISH IS A MUST; Japanese or Chinese is a plus
