Lead and manage import-export operations, ensuring smooth customs clearance, CO preparation, licenses, and compliance with trade regulations.
Utilize ECUS software and customs systems for accurate declarations and submissions.
Coordinate closely with Accounting, Production, and Warehouse teams to calculate BOM for customs submission.
Collaborate with forwarders, agents, and carriers for booking, transportation, and clearance processes.
Monitor shipment progress, troubleshoot issues, and update departments on changes in customs regulations and taxes.
Prepare weekly and monthly import-export reports for the Director.
Conduct training sessions for staff on customs regulations and import/export procedures.
Managed team to arrange daily trucking schedules, optimizing warehouse capacity and utilizing labor efficiently based on shipment details.
Checked shipment details and recommended appropriate truck types to drivers to effectively control transportation costs.
Collaborated with teams to verify discrepancies in quantity and quality of goods, and proposed solutions for each case from a supply chain perspective.
Be in charge of CFR and post-clearance audits.
