• Support Directors in developing relationships with clients to gain an understanding of their businesses, and identify potential opportunities
• Develop relationships with immigration and labour authorities to enhance the immigration services to clients and to obtain insights about changes in practices
• Actively participate in different chambers and public organisations to promote KPMG’s brand name and services
• Leading multiple engagements of varying size and complexity
• Advising clients on complex immigration and labour matters
• Producing well-researched opinions on immigration compliance/planning for clients
• Coach and develop team members to successfully deliver value in immigration advisory and compliance services to our clients
• Contribute to continuous improvement of in-house systems and procedures
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor degree in relevant subjects, e.g. Llaws, Human resources
• At least 54 years relevant experience in either external and/or internal HR&Admin function, focusing on work permit and immigration management for foreign labours
• Good command of English and Vietnamese
• Competent and literate with the following packages: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent technical knowledge of and experience in immigration advisory and compliance
• The ability to apply an understanding of current immigration and labour regulations and practices to the immigration advisory and compliance work
• Strong organizational, time management skills and effective communication skills
• Ability to work and perform under pressure with tight deadlines
• A proven track record in developing and maintaining relationships at various levels
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to motivate and lead teams to achieving an outcome
• A true leadership approach and previous experience mentoring junior and senior tax consultants
• Demonstrated strategic and innovative thinking skills with the ability to develop tailored solutions to address complex needs
• Self-motivated with a high level of initiative.
• Good command of English and Vietnamese
