Card Product Development Specialist

As a Card Product Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and managing credit card and debit card products throughout their lifecycle, ensuring competitiveness, profitability, and compliance with business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research, analyze customer needs and payment trends to develop new card products.
• Design product value propositions (CVP), customer journeys, product features, and benefits for target customer segments.
• Develop pricing strategies and evaluate product profitability through Business Cases, P&L, and financial analysis.
• Gather business requirements, prepare BRD/Functional Requirements, and collaborate with IT and vendors to implement products on the Card Management System (CMS).
• Participate in SIT/UAT testing, product deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Monitor product portfolio performance using key business metrics and recommend product enhancements to improve business outcomes.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, international card schemes, and business partners throughout product development and implementation.
• Ensure all products comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and card scheme standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in card product development within a bank or financial institution.
• Experience in Customer Value Proposition (CVP), product pricing, Business Case development, and profitability analysis.
• Hands-on experience implementing products on a Card Management System (CMS).
• Experience working with IT teams on system development and implementation projects.
• Solid understanding of credit/debit card products, card lifecycle, and product management.
• Strong skills in Product Management, Business Analysis, Project Management, and requirement documentation (BRD/FRD).
