- 2010: Thomas J. Treutler became the Managing Director of Tilleke & Gibbins in Vietnam. Within two years, the firm was named “IP Firm of the Year” for Vietnam by Managing IP magazine.
- 2008: Opening of the new Hanoi office at the HAREC Building marked a major turning point in the firm’s Vietnamese operations. The HCMC team moved to a new office in the Citilight Tower later in 2008.
- 1994: Tilleke & Gibbins has had a presence in Hanoi – the first foreign firm to be granted a license to open a rep office in Vietnam.
- 1992: Tilleke & Gibbins has had a presence in Ho Chi Minh City
