Senior Accountant

This Fixed Asset Accountant is responsible for accurate recording, tracking and reporting of Vietnam Commercial entities and Manco’s fixed assets. This role ensures compliance with Group Policy, SOP and VAS related to asset requisition, capitalization, depreciation, disposal and reconciliation, including low value assets.

- Maintain fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all capitalized items and low value asset items.

- Conduct transactional processing (acquisitions, transfers and disposal), perform month end/ year end activities in SAP (including depreciation posting). Ensure that costs associated with capital items are properly captured, classified and depreciated according to Group Policy, SOP and VAS.

- Track development projects, coordinate with development team, property management team to ensure timely capitalization of assets related to renovation plans and review cost report regularly.

- Reconcile fixed assets records with general ledger accounts on monthly basis.

- Ensure assets are properly tagged, labeled by operation team.

- Initiate and conduct periodic physical verification of fixed aassets in coordination with operation teams, investigate for any discrepancies, update the count result to SAP.

- Assist in capital expenditures forecasting and budgeting.

- Assist with internal and external statutory audits, tax audits by preparing supporting documentation and reports of fixed assets.

- Recommend improvements to fixed asset management process and controls.

- Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting.

- Good experience in fixed asset controlling

- Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting under IFRS and VAS.

- Advanced Excel skill.

- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, SUN, Oracle etc).

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical mindset and ownership mentality.

- Ability to communicate effectively with operation and finance team.

- Strong organizational skill and ability to manage multiple tasks.

- Hospitality industry is strongly preferred.
