Legal Executive

• Draft, prepare, review, and revise contracts and appendices to ensure legal validity and protect the company’s interests, both commercially and legally.

• Verify content and ensure agreements are signed before relevant departments proceed with execution.

• Manage signed contracts, monitor the expiry dates of important contracts, and notify relevant departments of renewal timelines.

• Provide legal advice to other departments when necessary, while also anticipating legal issues that may affect the company’s business and recommending appropriate solutions.

• Assist and liaise with local authorities on matters such as branch/factory establishment, investment licenses, import licenses, corporate document registration, and new product registration, as needed.

• Handle the registration and protection of the company’s brand and trademark.

• Register promotion schemes and activities with the Department of Trade.

• Draft out-going official document as advised

• Prepare documents for applications (FDA, court cases, etc.)

• Monitor and apply for necessary visas and related documents for foreign employees and management.

• Regularly update and report on any new circulars related to the company and products to the GM or relevant departments.

• Other tasks as assigned by the Managing Director

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG companies.

• Strong time management, problem-solving skills and detail-oriented approach.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Positive attitude with a proactive, can-do mindset.

• Fluent in both spoken and written English.
