Sourcing Engineer

The Sourcing Engineer is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers to ensure the company receives high-quality materials, components, and services at the best value. This role combines technical engineering knowledge with procurement expertise to optimize cost, quality, and supply chain performance. The Sourcing Engineer works closely with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure supplier capabilities align with product and business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, qualify, and develop suppliers for critical components, materials, and services.

• Evaluate supplier manufacturing processes and capabilities to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards.

• Manage supplier RFQs (Requests for Quotation), proposals, and selection processes.

• Work with quality teams to resolve supplier non-conformances and drive continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability/ethical sourcing standards.

• Review customer drawings, standards, and work with suppliers so that they fully understand the requirements before providing a quotation.

• Collaboration with the supplier follow in the troubleshooting

• Evaluating trading project’s drawing

• Search for additional suppliers to perform services such as heat treatment and plating.

Requirements and skills:

• English basic Level

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or related field.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, casting, etc.).

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.

• Proficiency in 3D CAD, Microsoft Office, etc.
