Market Analysis
• Analyze and conduct extensive market research to identify potential business opportunities. This includes understanding the logistics market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth/ improvement.
Product and Solution Development
• Develop and enhance service offerings based on market demands and customer’s needs.
• Offer tailored solutions that meet the customer’s requirement, as well as designing and analyzing operational solutions for customer tender proposals, assigned projects, and existing operations.
• Define Product Value Proposition and Differentiators.
• Develop new transport service and value-added services (VAS) ensuring product differentiation with competition.
• Develop success stories and showcases to attract new business opportunities.
Product Pricing Strategy
• Develop pricing strategy and ensure that pricing is competitive and aligned with market trends and customer needs.
• Develop sales tariffs and manage rate database.
• Do pricing and profitability analysis on regular basis for existing and new business opportunities.
Other Key Responsibilities
• Prepare regular analytical reports and develop a strategic business development plan to drive profitable and sustainable growth.
• Manage monthly review of partners/vendors together with Operations for compliance, score cards, etc.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service offerings, streamline processes, and maximize operational efficiency.
• Consult with operations on processing aspects, local regulations, capacity planning and costing.
• Build effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Join Business Development meetings with customers together with Sales.
• Other tasks as assigned by Supervisors / Manager.
• University Degree
• 3-5 Years of experience in the International Freight forwarding/ Trucking operations / Supply chain solution, with a focus in operation analysis, planning and transport management solutions design
• Customs House Brokerage (CHB) experience is preferred.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Discipline and good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, scenario mapping and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of transportation rates and factors the impact them (i.e. seasonality, etc.) is preferred.
• Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Pro-active, self-motivated, high learning agility, creative, passion of business, capable organization
• Excellent customer service skills.
