Senior/ Middle In-House Legal Counsel (5 Days Per Week, 7 Hours Per Day)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transactions & Contracts

● Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners.

● Provide legal advice and risk assessment for business deals, investments, and strategic projects.

● Ensure contractual terms align with both legal requirements and business objectives.

2. Employment & Labor Law

● Advise on labor law compliance and HR policies.

● Draft and review employment contracts, disciplinary actions, and labor-related documentation.

● Provide legal support in employee relations and labor disputes.

3. Corporate Governance & Compliance

● Support corporate governance to ensure compliance with Vietnamese laws, sector-specific regulations, and internal policies.

● Monitor and update management on regulatory changes impacting the business.

● Liaise with external counsel and government authorities when necessary.

● Support risk management and litigation strategy.

● Bachelor’s degree in Law.

● Minimum 3 years of in-house experience (preferably with multinational companies).

● Strong knowledge of Vietnamese law; exposure to international business law is a plus.

● Experience in the IT or technology sector is an advantage.

● Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).

● Strong legal foundation with ability to balance legal expertise and business mindset.

● Self-motivated, able to work independently as the sole legal counsel, and comfortable reporting directly to the Country Manager.

Preferred Experience

● Prior experience working for foreign-invested companies.

● Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and support fast-paced business environments.

Remuneration Package:

● Work location: Level 20, Lancaster Luminaire, 1154 Lang Street, Lang Ward, Hanoi

● Working hours: 9:00 ~ 17:00 (5 days per week, 7 hours per day); Breaking time: 12:00-13:00
