Reports and Accountable to: Visualisation Leads & Practice Director
The specific role and responsibilities discussed with you are (but not limited to) the following:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Produce high-quality Architectural Exterior / Interior renders within designated timelines.
• Management and production of 3D Visualisation related aspects of DKO’s businesses including (but not limited to)
• Supervise and guide junior visualisation team members, setting clear expectations for quality and deadlines.
• Mentor and support junior staff in their professional development and overall job satisfaction.
• Conduct monthly one-on-one sessions with Visualisation Leads to review team performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Receive direction from Visualisation Leads and provide constructive feedback to elevate team skill levels.
• Take a hands-on role in producing architectural imagery for client presentations, design competitions, awards, and marketing materials.
• Act as a key liaison between multiple DKO studios – coordinate across teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment throughout the visualisation process.
• Use professional communication to navigate feedback, resolve misunderstandings, and maintain a collaborative environment across international teams.
• Develop strong working relationships with designers and artists in other DKO studios.
• Receive instruction from Visualisation Leads and provide feedback and advice in improving visualisation workflow.
• Be proactive in communicating with Visualisation Leads to promote efficient resourcing, speed, and quality.
• Initiate and lead regular team meetings, quality reviews and technical support for the visualisation team.
• Represent the ideas and issues experienced by the visualisation team to the Visualisation Leads.
• Working closely with Visualisation Leads with key role in building and maintenance of central DKO visualisation libraries and workflows.
OBJECTIVES
• To participate in the growth and objectives of the practice through (but not limited to).
• Proactive communication with Visualisation Manager and Directors.
• Operate within practice policy and professional practice standards.
• Proactive participation and advise on projects when requested.
• Input into office procedures and standards.
• Be innovative and creative in developing the delivery of projects.
• Promote the practice where possible and act as a marketing advocate
• Advise the Directors of any issues that may arise considered needing risk management.
• Continually improve and enhance skills and knowledge.
• Undertake National and International travel as deemed necessary.
• Key role in building central DKO visualisation libraries
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Degree in Architecture (preferred) or Interior Design from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant industry experience; prior work in international or multidisciplinary firms is highly regarded.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills – able to communicate clearly, diplomatically, and effectively with stakeholders across multiple studios.
• Skilled in cross-cultural collaboration, conflict resolution, and building strong interpersonal relationships.
• Advanced post-production skills – capable of enhancing render outputs with high-level use of Photoshop, Lightroom, and similar tools
• Proficiency in 3D visualisation software: 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, Lightroom.
Familiarity with: Chaos Vantage, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, and digital portfolio tools
• Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to translate design concepts into detailed visuals, including hand sketches.
• Ability to show detail design in 2D drawing as well as outline interior space in 3D drawing.
• Initiative, self-motivated and able to grasp new concepts quickly.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Competence in organizational support, react well under pressure.
• Flexibility, diligence, reliability and responsibility are a must.
