** Strategic purpose of the position: To be champion excellence in execution for field sales and to build Sales capabilities and Sales force effectiveness.
1. Develop sales capabilities
• Develop and cascade best practice tools (BPTs) for sales including sales skills and sales management skills (hard skills).
• Ensure implementation and compliance from sales team towards sales policies, sales rules and principles. Conduct frequent market visit to ensure implementation and compliance.
• Work cross functionally with Trade Marketing, MOFT Team, Sales Training Team to develop strategy and communication of our store Impact Areas, and drive store execution (FIT Program and others).
• Work cross functionally with Trade, Marketing and other related teams to build sales toolkits for any launch of new products, sales & trade plans and ensure the effective implementation.
• Conduct TNA based on business requirements and individual development plan to build sales training and development roadmap (in term of functional skills only – hard skills)
• Proactively discuss with Sales Leadership Team to identify potential sales talents and build succession plans in sales team (midle manager level).
• Ensure sales newcomers be inducted/ oriented by line managers and assigned persons
• Align with RTM Manager on route models and routing techniques; work with RSM and ASM to organize training and coaching how to set up effective routes and re-route, and ensure the route efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Training & Coaching
• Train BPTs and training programs (hard skills) to sales team and BA of GT & MOFT
• Check, audit and evaluate trainings to Sales team, from BA, SR, SS to ASM.
• Provide coaching, OTJ training to all sales levels (up to ASM): TTT, selling skills, coaching skills, analytical skills, problem solving skills…
3. Other accountabilities
• Contribute in building short-term and long-term plans to support sales projects, sales programs and sales training such as Sales Sup Trainee, Training & Coaching Videos, E-learning/ On-line learning, Sales Academy…
***Office base: Hanoi, Hue or Da Nang and frequent travel
• Strong coaching & training skills
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Good planning, implementation, presentation and negotiation skills
• Strong people management & collaboration skills,
• Ability to convince/influence to RSM, ASM and other support functions
• Good communication in Vietnamese and English
• Proactive, self-starter
• Pragmatic problem solving in complex/ambiguous situations
• Highly motivated, energetic, enthusiastic and team oriented
• Outgoing, comfortable in bar/nightclub drinking environment
• Strong team player
• University graduate major in Business/Marketing of equivalent
• Experience: min 3-5 years’ in sales & sales coaching, sales capability developement in FMCG industry
• Good knowledge of trade marketing/promotion, sales, and the consumer goods industry dynamics in Vietnam
