- As Assistant Director of Sales, you will be responsible for working closely with the Senior Management Team to drive business needs and expand existing
business through promotional efforts and sales channels. An Assistant Director of Sales will work to develop the sales group and groom a high-performing
sales team. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Set up all sales objectives, action plans and team’s targets.
- Assist in the management and development of Sales team.
- Actively participate in achieving hotel’s budgets, especially rooms’ budget.
- Generate and maintain major accounts and assigned segments through various sales activities (face to face sales calls, telephone calls, entertainment,
sight inspections, etc.).
- Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the hotel and the management company.
- Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs.
- Monitor offers, options and discounts for repeat bookings for groups, congresses and seminars in close cooperation with the Food & Beverage Manager.
- Define precisely guest requirements and ensure that the guest services offer corresponds effectively to their requests.
- Provide after-sales services to ensure all guest complaints are taken seriously if any.
- Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximizes up selling opportunities of sales team.
Review direct competition and ensure complete awareness by all sales team of competitor’s activities (promotions, special rates and event) at all times.
