The position holder will demonstrate accountability for managing the sales team in assigned segmentation by developing the team through motivation, counseling, skills development and product knowledge development.
- Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish
- Analyze marketing potential of new and existing customers, sales statistics, and expenditures to formulate policy
- Take orders from customers and ensuring that products are delivered in time
- Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort), realistic costs of operating the sales force; and sales promotion program plans.
- Responsible for the planning, recruitment, direction, organization and control of sales representatives to accomplish specific objectives
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Set up sales targets for all members in the sales team
- Implement the performance appraisal of sales representatives quarterly.
- Personally observe the performance of sales representatives in the field on a regular basis.
- Provide high standards of ongoing training for the sales representatives so that they possess sufficient medical and technical knowledge to present information on the company’s products in an accurate and balanced manner.
- Receive and handle complaints from customers.
The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Direct Manager from time to time.
- University graduated, Pharmacist/Doctor is preferred.
- Have experience working in MNCs is preferred.
- Successful in being a Sales Supervisor /Team Leader/ Senior Sales Representative for at least 3 years.
- Good network of relationships within the Vietnam healthcare industry, especially with Key Opinion Leaders, specialist doctors, hospital administrators is strongly preferred.
- Hardworking, patient and able to deal with customers.
- Able to yield result from any assignment.
- Having knowledge about products (after training).
- Good English is a plus.
- Willing to travel.
