    Impact on the Business
    • Be responsible for ensuring the Country Supplied Services Business Service delivers in line with its demand statements
    • Ensure the delivery of annual business plans across the country
    • Be accountable for the implementation of global initiatives in the Country, liaising with resources from the Business and Change Delivery as necessary
    • Implement global best practice in accordance with the Business Services Operating Model; seeking dispensation for any Country variance
    • Contribute to the regional initiatives and plans through identifying and sharing best practice within the country.
    • Be accountable for an effective management of contracts with third party suppliers
    • Be responsible for 3rd party supplier governance across Country Operations
    • Execute on activities to help support the implementation of the strategic direction for the supplier management organisation within GSD that addresses and facilitates the delivery of key business objectives and drivers

    Customers / Stakeholders
    • Be accountable to the Regional Head of the Business Service and the Country Head of Operations in ensuring service is delivered to the Business Partner. To meet/discuss with the Business partner to review performance, identify common issues as well as represent the Business Service at Business meetings.
    • Be accountable for the delivery of the Business Service country targets
    • Manage resources across Country to ensure performance levels continually meet agreed quality standards
    • Be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve service Quality across the Business Service and influencing service quality across the region
    • Establish an effective dialogue / working relationship with Global Businesses and external customers in order to build sustainable operations
    • Work in collaboration with suppliers within the country to improve the quality of relationships and drive further value of the supply / value chain
    • Ensure that effective relationships and communication is developed with key stakeholders within the country
    • Understand the full value chain and business environment that a product / service operates in, to hold informed conversations with the suppliers and to support supplier relationship development

    Leadership & Teamwork
    • Establish the goals for the Business Service teams – In country and manages their performance.
    • Responsible for the coaching and development of individual team members and the overall development plans of the Country
    • Recruit team members within agreed headcount plans
    • Be accountable for the effective cascade of communication within the country
    • Develop and maintain relationships with regional & country business partners/functional heads to support the agreed Supplied Services strategy and ensure a partnership approach for quick resolution of escalated issues
    • Lead a team of subject matter experts and practioners
    • Adept at influencing stakeholders and challenges others on Supplier Management ways of operating with focus on pragmatism, efficiency or new ways to work

    Operational Effectiveness & Control
    • Support the Regional Head of Supplied Services Business Service in implementing the global operations strategy, including outsourcing and location strategies, metrics, minimum standards, skill requirements and operational models for the Business Service
    • Be accountable for the effective use of resources and use of Production Management tools to deliver established levels of Production Quality across the Incountry Business Service teams
    • Manage Country resources across the Business Service to ensure performance levels / business service targets continually meet agreed standards
    • Be accountable for meeting operational risk targets for the in country team by implementing audit points and continually adhering to Global Standards.
    • Maintain and observe all HSBC control standards including the timely implementation of Group Audit recommendations.
    • Must respond to all escalations, resolving or escalating all issues with operational effectiveness in a timely and appropriate manner.
    • Be accountable for ensuring appropriate level of contingency for operations and processes and effective business recovery plans exists maintaining regular testing for appropriateness and adequacy
    • Ensure that there is a timely and effective measures for the holistic performance of suppliers across the country, using a predefined governance process and set of criteria.
    • Assure the value of an individual product / service contract over its life and ensure that legal obligations and service levels of the contract are met or exceeded by both HSBC and the Supplier
    • Ensure that any supplier management risk management policy, processes and tools are actively used to identify and mitigate risks

    Yêu cầu công việc

    • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in operations or in a directly related business/function with minimum 3 years’ experience in leading a team.
    • Previous experience in Operations Management including strong operational control capabilities and a proven track record in delivery
    • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail combined with a strong delivery focus and ability to meet aggressive timeframes with quality results
    • Excellent planning, organizing and commercial skills including strong financial management capability with tenacy to drive through results
    • Ability to maintain composure and drive right outcomes under high risk business recovery scenarios
    • Strong relationship management capabilities, with great leadership and interpersonal skills
    • Balance approach to risk management including techniques to mitigate risk
    • Ability to interact and build relationship with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
    • Operate well across cultures an in multi-cultural diverse work enviroments
    • Ability to leverages resources outside of direct control to achieve goals
    • Experience in Process Re-engineering, Process Automation, Macro Generating is preferable
